Alien Characters Series 1 Episode 7

Alien Carla was, well of course she was, from our point of view, an alien. An alien broadcaster to be precise.

Alien Carla lived in the city of Castway, on the planet Chanos in the Wyliss system.

Every morning at about 4am Carla and her fellow casters got up to go to work.

Well, '4am' our time was probably 'blkriki' their time but you know what we mean.

Carla's job was to broadcast to the galaxy the latest galactic news every period. But she didn't do this using slow radio waves like our radio broadcasters did.

Oh No!

Carla used mindwaves!

That's right. Carla used her mind to send her thoughts instantaneously around the galaxy, bypassing the physical laws of time and space altogether. News really was 'up to the minute' considering the thousands of years it would normally take using radio waves.

Carla broadcast news directly into the brains of people who requested it - which can be a bit of a surprise if you forget your channel was due and you suddenly find yourself talking about the galactic federation while having your meal.
